YouTube tells me: "This is a private video. If you have been sent this video, be sure to accept the sender's friend request". I don't understand what that means.

On the WSJ article, I agree that perception IS everything, as is paranoia. How can the writer be sure that the person overheard speaking on the cellphone wasn't saying 'YOU Wall Street bankers' in a Latino accent? ;) Joking aside I've experienced one or two moments of dread when among friends discussing the economic crisis, fearing that someone will bring up "the Jews" but so far it hasn't come to that - my paranoia or a well-founded hunch that it is on the tips of their tongues? It also reminded me of a story my grandmother told about overhearing a conversation between two women in 1940s London who were discussing a company that was having problems - being investigated for fraud, perhaps? One said to the other "Jews, you know" and the other one nodded in agreement.

The Cookie Monster impression was very authentic! I can't wait to get my hands on the Richard Behar (http://www.richardbehar.com/) tell all. There are two commissioned biographies, apparently...

(and I quote):

In 2010, HarperCollins will release an investigative work, currently untitled, by reporter-anchor Andrew Kirtzman, who has been featured on the New York City television stations WCBS and NY1. Random House will publish a Madoff book, also currently untitled, by Richard Behar, a journalist who has written for Time, Fortune and other magazines.
