I’d think it wouldn’t be very funny to anyone who doesn’t know the movie Kazablan, which, by the way, is totally 70s, not 60s

@lirun, people in north Tel Aviv had a similar shock years ago when they woke up to see giant posters of Khomeini and a mass of religious supporters — they didn’t realize a scene from “Not Without my Daughter” was being filmed .

I was aghast when I saw this commercial for the first time. I do wish it had English subtitles also! All I could get out of my Israeli friends is “It’s just s a joke and advertisement for YES.” Blah.
