Natan Dvir: Photo essays from Tel Aviv and Elsewhere

Natan Dvir posted the photo below on his Facebook profile. It’s one of a series called The Tel Avivians, which you can view if you ask Natan to be your friend (tell him I sent you). This photo was taken in one of the most magical spots in my neighborhood – and quite possibly in all of Tel Aviv. It’s called Prince Albert Square.

You can see more of Natan’s work, which includes coverage of events like the disengagement from Gaza and the second Lebanon war, here. Last month, Ynet featured his moving series, Shelter, about the Darfur refugees in Israel.

Oh yes, and he’s also the guy who shot all those luscious photographs for City Guide Tel Aviv. He’s working now on the updated version, which will be published in spring/summer 2008 (depending on how fast I write).

  2. Sure you know Prince Albert Square! It’s where Nachmani and Melchett meet – at the Pagoda House.
